Follow The Torch!

At The Torch we follow the Biblical directive to help others according to the example Jesus set for us. If you look Jesus life, He set the bar high by loving the "unlovable," traveling to parts of the world others shied away from, visited with the sick, the poor and the elderly, and by taking care of the orphaned.d. At The Torch, we want to not only help children in our own community, but to impact children worldwide. 

If you look at the Bible it becomes very clear Jesus loved children very dearly, and because of this, we feel called to follow Christ's commandment and are acting as His hands and feet. We believe every child deserves to experience and know God''s love for them and it is our desire to play whatever role we can in reaching children from Him. Because of our passion to help children in need, we feel whole heartily it is our duty to sponsor some of the world's orphans. We recently became a monthly rescue partner with World Orphans and are asking a few things of all who read this:

Jeremiah 22:3 This is what the Lord says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the orphan or the widow.

  • Please consider becoming a monthly rescue partner with World Orphans, or another reputable orphan care organization, your monthly gift can literally save countless lives:
$33/month provides food for 2 children
$50/month provides medical care for 18 children
$75/month provides shelter for a child in a children’s home
$150/month allows a child to go to school
$600/month trains a caregiver in child development best practices
