Legacy (Noun)
Anything handed down from the past, as from an ancestor
All of our loved ones have impacted our lives, left impressions upon our hearts, and vivid memories in our minds. Grandparents, parents, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters, and even those who have adopted us as their own family. Regardless of if someone is family, shares the same bloodline, was a childhood friend, or a brother in arms in the military - certain people come into our lives and leave it forever altered.
At 180 we want to pay a special tribute to the people who have helped make us who we are, who set the example of what it means to be a selfless person, and to continue to bring their legacies to life. We are working on getting a Legacy Plaque engraved with the names of loved ones whose lives deeply impacted ours and yours. This Legacy Plaque will be a permeneant fixture at the 180 restaurant and will serve as a reminder that our lives are but a fleeting moment here on Earth, but our memories and what we leave behind will go on forever.
For a donation of $250 to Torch 180 you can have your loved ones name added to this Legacy Plaque. (Please see the picture below for an idea of what the plaque will look like.) We will also email you a personalized certificate in honor of your loved one to you can print out/email as you desire.

One of the things I remember most about my loved one is:
My Grandma Ruddle just enjoyed being with her grandkids. She did not care if we were playing games with my grandpa, working in the garage, playing with her button collection, or watching tv - she just wanted to be where we were and liked watching us play with our cousins and having fun with my grandpa. I will never forget asking her one time what she wanted to do, and she turned to me and replied, "I want to do whatever you would like to do." - Sarah Ruddle
One of the things I remember most about my grandpa, Papa Duke, was that as soon as I would walk into the door of his house, he would tell me (and whatever brother or cousins happened to be with me) to go into the fridge and get a drink and to check out the snacks. We would proceed to grab our "special drinks," and to give him and my grandma a hug and kiss. My grandpa used to joke with me and my younger brother that he could travel the world with a deck of cards and we just laugh, because it seemed he was always losing card games to us. - Sarah Ruddle
My sister Debbie was one of the funniest people I have ever known. She was also one of the best friends I have had. From the time we were small girls playing house with our dolls or Barbies, until the time we were adult moms getting together with our children, we were close. We shared our parenting joys and sorrows, and our hopes and dreams. Debbie was definintely a person who believed in begging forgiveness over asking permission. She lived her life with passion, and left a mark in mine that will never go away. - Rhonda Callanan
