in order to pull this event off, it takes a community! we are now collecting:  school supplies
gift cards for food, school supplies, and HAIRCUTS,
​and in need of hair stylists.

We are in need of gift cards to places such as walmart, kroger, meijer and staples to offset food cost as well as to purchase school supplies

Attention!
 
We are doing something different at our Brighton Back 2 School location this year! We have a large group of children and teens who come faithfully to the food truck for several years every time we are there.
 
We are looking for people who would be interested in “adopting” these young people to help us help them!
 
It is our goal to provide each of the children/teens with three new school outfits (they don’t have to be brand-new clothes, but they must be very gently-used), new underwear, a lunch box if they indicated they use one, and some school supplies to start off the year.

We do need to be able to collect all the donations by Friday, August 17, 2018. That will give us time to organize them for distribution.

This year we are sponsoring students at the brighton location and would like to give these 25 students gift cards to get hair cuts. if you, or someone you know, would like to help offset this cost and make sure students are styling for school - we would greatly appreciate the help.
